  • Also known as spinal manipulation or joint cracking. It’s a treatment where a practitioner uses their hands to apply a controlled force to a spinal joint which produces a popping sound.

The goal is to improve spinal motion and reduce pain by addressing misalignments or restricted movement in the spine.

    Benefits include:

    • Pain relief

    • Improved spinal alignment

    • Enhanced function

  • A type of massage therapy that focuses on manipulating and rehabilitating the body's soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.

It aims to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation and well-being.

  • Joint mobilization is a manual therapy technique used to improve joint movement and function by addressing restrictions in joint mobility.

It involves skilled movements, such as traction, oscillations or glides, applied to the joint and surrounding tissues.

The goal is to restore normal joint mechanics, reduce pain, and improve quality and range of motion.

  • Breath training, also known as breathwork, involves various techniques to consciously control and regulate breathing patterns.

These exercises can help reduce stress, increase energy levels, improve lung capacity, improve sleep and enhance overall well-being.

  • Sciatica is a term used to describe symptoms that are caused by the compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve.

The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the human body, running from the lower back down through the buttocks and into the legs.

The symptoms of irritation to this nerve include:

    • Pain in the lower back

    • Shooting pain down the buttocks and leg

    • Weakness of leg

    • Loss of sensation in the leg (numbness or tingling)

In order to effectively treat sciatica, the cause for the nerve irritation must be identified. The sciatic nerve can become inflamed and irritated at various points for varying reasons.

  • Headaches can often be a result of dysfunctions in the cervical spine (neck).

We formulate a hands-on treatment plan to identify and resolve any misalignments or imbalances in the neck and spine in order to relieve pain.

  • In order to improve the quality and range of motion of the shoulder, we perform gentle mobilisation techniques and soft tissue releases in and around the shoulder complex.

We also aim to optimise the spinal alignment and overall posture to ensure long term effectiveness of our treatment.

  • Back pain can be caused by a wide range of bio-mechanical and physiological issues.

Our treatment includes a physical assessment of your posture, gait and overall wellness in order to identify the reason for the discomfort.

We then perform hands-on techniques to relieve tension, stress and restrictions on the relevant joints, tissues and muscles.

  • Hip (or groin) pain can be caused by a wide range of bio-mechanical and physiological issues.

Our treatment includes a physical assessment of your posture, gait and overall wellness in order to identify the reason for the discomfort.

We then perform hands-on techniques to relieve tension, stress and restrictions on the relevant joints, tissues and muscles.
