Meet Ozge

Osteopathic Medicine BSc (Hons)

Ozge graduated from the University of Surrey with a degree in Osteopathic Medicine BSc (Hons) in 2015. She is also a breathwork coach and facilitator.

Ozge is passionate about curating a life centered around the wellness of the mind, body, and soul. She advocates that we should all be pouring into and maintaining our own cup so our vitality can overflow and nurture all areas of our lives effortlessly.

By using a range of hands-on manual techniques (such as spinal adjustments, soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, and breathwork), she aims to relieve your physical symptoms and point your awareness to how your posture, lifestyle, and unconscious patterns might be contributing to your physical symptoms.

The 1 hour session is followed by a set of take-home exercises and guidance, as needed.

Our philosophy is to holistically understand your current state of physical well-being and nurture the connection between mind, body and soul.

We understand that pain isn’t random.

Our body is constantly communicating with us to let us know where it needs attention.

Quite often, our physical discomfort is a signal from some of the following:

  • Irritated nerves

  • Wear and tear

  • Interrupted body tissue blood supply

  • Poor lymphatic drainage

  • Torn muscles, ligaments

  • Other chronic diseases

However, if we look deeper, we often find that the above are often a result of something that’s much overlooked:

  • Overburdened nervous system

  • Chronic stress

  • Dehydrated fascia

  • Poor breathing patterns

  • Emotional blockages

  • Poor posture relating to self-perception

  • Disrupted endocrine system unable to efficiently handle external toxins

  • Poor blood flow to muscles, tissues, organs

  • Poor gait, causing discrepancies across the musculoskeletal system

  • Poor gut health causing higher levels of inflammation in the body

  • Poor sleep hygiene, causing inflammation and hormonal imbalances

Each treatment session is divided into 3 parts:

Before your treatment session you will be asked to fill out a form where you will be asked about the current pain you’re experiencing, your lifestyle, medical history, past injuries, overall wellness and diet. This part will be skipped if you’re a returning patient.

During the 1 hour session, we will assess your posture, gait, movement patterns, breathing and symptoms of discomfort. We will then spend most of the session on hands-on manual therapy methods like soft tissue techniques to relax tension in muscles, spinal adjustments to correct discrepancies and joint mobilisation to improve the quality and range of motion.

After the session, you will receive further guidance and exercises to incorporate into your routine as well as things to avoid and things to be aware of.
